The black & white pictures were taken at the end of May 2020, using a medium format film camera. Each image tends to capture a fragment of the construction located in the Southern Arizona desert, illustrating a specific moment rather than the complete project.
This series, suggesting a walk through the building, enables abstract compositions to emerge and, more specifically, the play of light over the hours of the day, the intersecting lines forming specific compositions and the mineral weight of concrete, as a petrified liquid stone imprinted by the marks of wood.
These fragments, assembled together as we progress through the building, echo the experience of the place.
